La radio de mi vida tenía puesto el "Pause" hace mucho tiempo. Y hoy, al despertar, supe que ya era tiempo de soltar la cinta de mi vida y dejarla correr.
Hoy... hoy es el día.
Abrí las ventanas, y afuera el sol brillaba como nunca antes en un invierno tan gélido como éste.
Basta de quedarme en casa los fines de semana, viendo pasar las horas en el reloj diminuto del computador.
Como alguna vez lo dije en este blog, comenzando el año, dije que iba a ser un gran año. Y esta vez no me equivoqué.
El disco que refleja ese sentir es el de Celine Dion; después de mucho tiempo de cerrar los ojos a la realidad, hay que abrirlos. Y hoy, después de todo, de la vida profesional, de ensayar el cómo abrir los ojos, las nubes se corren para despejar el horizonte de mi vida.
Todavía hay mucho por hacer. Allá afuera está la vida.
Estas palabras han brotado después de escuchar este tema de la intérprete inglesa Duffy, magistral tema que canta acompañada del ex-guitarrista de Suede (y co-autor del tema), Bernard Butler: "Distant dreamer".
